| CITIZEN'S RESPONSIBILITIES |
| |
|
1. |
Citizens are required to maintain the decorum in Cantonment General Hospital, while their patients are getting the medical aid/services in Cantonment General Hospital Dehradun. |
|
|
2. |
It is the responsibility of the citizens to keep the Hospital and its entire campus in neat and tidy conditions. |
|
|
3. |
They should cooperate with the Medical Officers/Doctors and the working staff of the Hospital and if, they have any complaints/suggestions with regard to the functioning of Hospital and working of the staff they should be immediately brought to the notice of the Cantonment Executive Officer, Dehradun for taking necessary action on their complaints/suggestions what so ever within the framework of prevailing rules and regulations. |

| PUBLIC HEALTH & HYGIENE |

|
Top priority is accorded for maintaining high standards for health and hygiene in the Cantonment. At present there is one sanitary superintendent, one sanitary inspector, 9 sanitary jamadars (authorized) and 180 safaiwallas to take care of the sanitation. The various activities undertaken by the sanitary department have been described below:- |

(i) |
Cleaning of roads, streets and drains in civil and army (as per contract agreement) and removal of solid waste are carried out from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. & from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Skeleton services on every day are given on receipt of information from the public. |

(ii) |
Collection and removal of garbage from the refuse bins are done everyday during working hours. |
|
|
(iii) |
Cleaning of group latrines, urinals are done every day on working days. |
|
|
(iv) |
Anti-larva, adulticide sprays are done time to time as and when required. |
