A LICENSE GRANTED UNDER SECTION 210 OF THE CANTONMENTS ACT, 1924, MAY CONTAIN CONDITIONS WHICH THE CANTONMENT AUTHORITY MAY THINK FIT TO IMPOSE WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING MATTERS

 
1.

In the case of makers and vendors of Ghee, Milk and Butter

 
(i)
The places at which, and the manner in which Ghee, Milk and Butter may be prepared and kept for sale.
 
(ii)

Inspection to be exercised over the making and selling of such articles.

 
(iii)

Vessels and the Apparatus to be used in the operations of their trade.

 
(iv)

The taking of any other measures which the Cantonment authority may consider necessary for keeping the premises and all vessels and apparatus in clean and sanitary state.

 
2.
In the case of making and selling of bread, biscuits, cakes, sugar an sweetmeats etc.
 
(i)
The apparatus and the water, flour and other ingredients which may be used in the operations of their trade.
 
(ii)

The places at which bread, biscuits, cakes, sugar or sweetmeats etc. may be prepared and kept for sale.

 
(iii)

The inspection to be exercised over the making and selling of such articles.

 
(iv)

The disposal of any such articles, which may be found to be unwholesome.

 
(v)

The covering to be used in the operation of their trade.

 
3.

In the case of vendors of fruits and vegetables;

 
(i)

The places and seasons at which fruits and vegetables, or any specified kind of fruit or vegetable might be sold.

(ii)
The disposal of any fruit or vegetable which may be found to be unwholesome or of which the sale has been prohibited under byelaws.
 
4.

In the case of vendors and sellers of Aerated or other potable waters, ice or ice cream.

 
(i)

The sources from which to be obtained.

 
(ii)
The machinery, chemical and ingredients, which may be used in such manufacture.
 
(iii)

The method to be taken in order to ensure the purity of such article and the cleanliness of all apparatus, receptacles and bottles used.

 
(iv)

The attachment of labels or the adoption of other means for the purpose of identifying the factory at which each article was made.

 
(v)

The coverings to be used for ice and ice-cream.

 
5.

In the case of washerman:

 
(i)

The places at which clothes may be washed dried or kept.

 
6.
In the case of dealers in hay, straw, wood, charcoal, fire works, kerosene oil or other inflammable material or spirit.
 
(i)

The places at which materials may be kept.

 
(ii)

The quantity that may be stored at any one place and the manner of storing.

 
(iii)

The precautions against fire to be taken by the dealer or the person in charge of the trade.

 
7.

In the case of vendors of wheat, rice and other grain or flour.

   
 
(i)

The places at which and the manner in which such articles are kept for sale.
